Unpaid, but college credit is possible. Intern duties include:
Students will be assigned to work with policy advisor and have the opportunity to experience the process of state policy development in a professional environment. Minimum Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communiciation skills, ability to work efficiently and independently, possess basic computer skills. Previous office experience, letter writing skills and knowledge of the Legislature and legislative process a plus, but not required. Box 30014 Lansing, MI 48909-7514 or via email to [email protected] ___________________________________________ College Application Procedure 1) Choose the college(s) you are interested in making an application to. 2) Go to the college's web page to download appropriate documents (e.g. application including counselor page) or .... 3) Complete the college's online application. Most schools still have the counselor page that needs to be printed and submitted to the counseling office for signature. 4) After you complete all the appropriate documents, bring them to Mrs. Lopez in the guidance office at the North Campus. She will print your transcript and give the full packet to the appropriate counselor. The office will mail the documents once the counselor has competed all necessary processing. College applications are processed by Mrs. Lopez every Thursday. _____________________________________________ |
