1) Who is my student’s counselor?
-The students are provided a counselor according to their last name:

2) How do I make up my credits?
-Virtual School, Summer School, and credit recovery (2nd semester only)
-EDTREK- See your counselor for more information
-Discuss these options with the student’s counselor
3) How many credits do I have?
-Check utillizing family access (at-home online program)
-Obtain a printed transcript at the counseling center (first door on left upon entering the main entrance at HHS)
-Attend mid-winter schedule presentations (Feb – March, specific times TBA)
4) How do I get my schedule changed?
-Very few schedules are changed. Students have the opportunity to choose the courses they wish to take.
-One of the few acceptable reasons to change a schedule is if a student has already received credit for a course (for example, signed up for Econ, but has already passed Econ)
5) How do I get a copy of my transcript?
-Review the following link: Request Transcripts
6) What resources are available to help me apply for scholarships?
-Check Holt Guidance and Counseling Page and click on Scholarships/Financial Aid link
-Speak with Ms. Sobanski and/or Ms. Schaeff at the North Campus
-Check your college's website (official school websites end in .edu)
-Listen for announcements prior to final bell at HHS
-Google “scholarships” and obtain resourceful links

-Search your school’s website (official website ends in .edu), then click on “apply now,” “admissions,” or “future students”
-Most schools now accept and prefer online applications
-Applications cost money ($25-60)
